Enjoy Your Vacation With Beach Access
Start your vacation's beach adventure safely and easily with Irie Mobility's manual beach wheelchair. Please review the following before hitting the shores.

Check seating & belt
Ensure the lap belt is secured and armrests are in the lowered position before movement.

Check terrain
Ideal for sand, beach edges, soft grass, mud, turf, packed gravel and resort paths. Avoid slopes.

Use with assistance
This is not a self-propelled wheelchair. It must always be pushed by an assistant, especially on sand or uneven ground.

Rinse after use
After sand or saltwater exposure, rinse the wheels and frame with fresh water to maintain performance.
⚠️ This beach wheelchair is not designed for independent operation.
Quick Tip: Our Beach Wheelchair is equipped with industry-leading balloon wheels, which make pushing easier, but always use controlled, steady movement.
Recommended Usage & Care Tips
To get the best performance from our beach wheelchair, we highly recommend you rinse it down with fresh water after exposure to sand and salt water. While our beach wheelchair is built tough with marine-grade stainless steel, rinsing after usage on the beach protects the frame and wheels during and after your stay.

Recommended Usage Tips
-
Rinse wheels, axles, and lower frame with fresh water after each beach use.
-
Avoid submerging the chair beyond ankle depth; this is not a flotation or surf wheelchair.
-
Let the chair air dry in a shaded area; avoid direct sun for extended periods.
-
Wipe seat fabric with mild soap and water if sandy or wet.
-
Inspect quick-release pins for sand buildup, rinse if hard to remove.
-
Store indoors or under cover when not in use.
-
Avoid dragging wheels sideways across sharp rocks or curbs.
Quick Care Tips
-
Marine-grade materials resist rust, but saltwater left to dry can still cause long-term damage.
-
Balloon wheels perform best with low pressure and are set to the appropriate pressure before delivery; never attempt to inflate them on your own.
Manual Beach Wheelchair Handling
Our Wheeleez Sandcruiser features large, low-pressure balloon wheels and a marine-grade stainless steel frame for stable, easy pushing over sand and soft terrain. While the chair can be disassembled using the quick-release pins, Irie Mobility delivers it fully assembled, so you only need to focus on safe handling while on your beach adventure. Always use at least one assistant when pushing on sand or uneven surfaces to maintain balance and control.
The manual beach wheelchair does not require assembly or disassembly by you; simply use it with assistance and follow the guidelines below.

Position user securely and fasten lap belt.

Lower armrests, ensure feet are safely on footrest.

Begin moving using slow, controlled pushes.

Avoid steep slopes, deep sand ridges, or entering surf zones.

After use, rinse chair and store it in a dry, shaded area.
⚠️ Never allow the user to sit unattended near water or on a slope.
⚠️ Always maintain control — the wheels roll extremely easily on sand.
Troubleshooting & Common Questions
Chair feels hard to push?
Check for deep sand pockets; adjust angle; avoid sinking areas; rinse wheels if sand-clogged.
Quick-release pins hard to remove?
Rinse with fresh water. Salt or sand buildup causes temporary stiffness.
Wheel wobble?
Normal on balloon wheels; ensure axle pin is fully inserted.
Seat feels loose?
Ensure armrests locked down and seat fabric secured.
⚠️ If the chair becomes difficult to control, stop use immediately and contact support.
