Recharge the battery!

At the end of each day, we kindly ask you to charge the equipment regardless of the battery indicator status on the console. Inadequate charging can damage the battery cells.

Always power off before mounting, dismounting, or adjusting the seat or tiller.

Quick Tip: The scooter automatically brakes when you release the throttle, no need to squeeze the handle (tiller) or use your feet as brakes.

Charging & Battery Care

To get the best performance from our mobility scooters, we highly recommend you recharge the equipment overnight regardless of the level at which the battery indicator on the control console is displaying. The Victory 9 uses two (2) durable sealed lead-acid batteries, and the equipment charges with a smart charger provided by Irie Mobility.

  • Turn the scooter off before connecting the charger.
  • Plug the charger into the tiller port (no battery box charging available).
  • Plug the other end directly into a wall outlet.
  • Don’t use extension cords or wet outlets, risk of electric shock.
  • Indicator Light: 🔴 / 🟠 = Charging 🟢 = Fully Charged.
  • Unplug the charger before starting the scooter.
  • Typical charge time: 6 – 10 hours (empty to full).
  • Do not cover the charger while in use; it needs ventilation.
  • If anything appears damaged, stop charging and contact Irie Mobility Support immediately.

Quick Tip: Nightly charging keeps you mobile and helps prevent battery issues.

Disassembly & Transport

Our Victory 9 mobility scooter is equipped with Pride's standard feather-touch, one-hand disassembly. This allows you to disassemble the equipment quickly and, most importantly, safely, so you can bring your equipment along with you when getting around on your vacation. The heaviest piece weighs 48.5 pounds, which enables it to be loaded into your vehicle.

Follow these steps to disassemble and complete in reverse to assemble.

⚠️ Lift carefully using proper posture. Avoid lifting by the tiller or plastic shrouds. Any broken fittings due to improper handling may incur a charge as outlined in your rental agreement.

⚠️ We encouraged you to exercise caution when disassembling and reassembling the equipment for your own safety and to prevent damage to the equipment. The most common damage that can occur during this process is the breakage of the connector pins that come together between the front of the frame and the rear.

Troubleshooting & Common Questions

Beeping or flashing lights?

→ Count the beeps and note when they occur; then create and include this information in your support request.

Short range or slow speed?
